Welcome Home
He's been waiting for you.
No matter where you’re at or what you’ve done, God still loves you.
In every moment of doubt or unworthiness, God’s love remains unchanged. He sees everything about you and He still chooses you. Today is an invitation to stop running from love and start living in it. The choice is yours to accept.
Let's start with the facts.
We all have sinned, in big ways and small. We may have lied, lusted, hated, been selfish and prideful. We may even carry guilt and shame from our past actions, decisions and choices.
Here's the good news.
When we place our faith in Jesus, we are forgiven.
It’s not because we earned it, and it’s not because we became perfect overnight. It’s because Jesus paid the price for our sins, completely.
When we give our lives to Christ, something beautiful begins to happen. God starts changing us from the inside out… slowly, lovingly, and faithfully. We don’t become holy in a single moment. We grow.
Our desires begin to change. Our hearts begin to soften. We begin to love what is good and turn away from what destroys us. This is not because we are trying to earn God’s love, but because we have already received it.
This is what it means to truly walk with God.
Let's talk about Jesus.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, lived the perfect life we could never live.
He never sinned, not once. He loved perfectly. He obeyed perfectly. He was holy, righteous, and blameless. He didn’t deserve punishment. The truth is that, we did.
Despite that, Jesus willingly went to the cross and took our place. The punishment that belonged to us was poured onto Him instead. He was mocked. He was beaten. He was rejected. He was crucified.
Not because He was guilty, but because He loved us.
What kind of love is this? That God would give His own Son to save people who sinned against Him. That Jesus would willingly suffer so we could be forgiven.
It was mercy. It was love.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. – John 3:16
The story didn't end at the cross.
Jesus died for our sins, but death did not defeat Him. Three days later, He rose again. Alive.
Because of Him, salvation is now offered freely to anyone who believes. Anyone.
- No matter your past.
- No matter your failures.
- No matter how ashamed you are.
- No matter how far away from God you feel.
You are not beyond His grace. You don’t have to “clean yourself up” before coming to Him. Come as you are. Broken. Tired. Confused. Hurting. Imperfect. Jesus Saves.
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith… it is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8
Here's the main takeaway...
God is not only a creator, He is a redeemer. He doesn’t just stand back and judge your brokenness. He enters into it. He sees your mess, your pain, you deepest failures, and He says, “I can fix this. I can make you whole again.”
That’s who Jesus is… God’s answer to the gap between who we are and who we’re meant to be.
Your Invitation.
Jesus is inviting you to come to Him today.
- Not once you “get your life together”
- Not once you become perfect
- Not once you fix every mistake
Now.
Right here, as you are.
If your heart is ready to place your faith in Jesus, you can pray something like this:
Jesus, I know that I have sinned and that I need You. Thank You for taking my place on the cross and paying the price for my sins. Thank You for loving me even when I was far from You. I believe that You died and rose again so I could be forgiven and made new. Please save me, change me, and teach me to walk with You. Thank You for Your mercy, grace, and love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
